well awhile back my buddy who painted my AC trike for me ,when i took my stuff up there we were workin out a deal for payment on it ...i seen this old schwinn frame layin there ....i says hey whats that u got there ...figured id leave with it and owing for a paint job ....he says oh im redoin it for a guy . oh hey he says ...how about u strip this frame n fork for me as payment for trike paint job ....im like what r u serious ...u cant take the paint off that bike ....yep the guy wants it lookin new again !!! i almost said no cause i didnt wanna see it messed with ...but i said ok what the hey !!!!LOL well here is was before i stripped all that awsome paint off it ....i need 2 see if he has finished it and get some pics back up ....he says he was gonna freehand the scallops ....HMMMM

...no i didnt take pics after i tore it up ...i figure we all know what a bare frame looks like !!!!

Try a little gasoline on the tip of your finger and rub it out, Or anything that will eat the spray paint or house paint and not harm the original paint underneath. Just do a test spot first. I normally test the bottom of the crank housing since it's not seen anyway. You'd be surprised how many spray-bombed and house painted frames I have rescued.
