Had to work a little late and ran out of daylight tonight.
All I got done tonight was try out a few different seats based on Tyler's suggestion.
Still not sure, but I have a few options to mull over (including keeping the original ratty saddle).
So here we go with seat choice roulette.

For a point of reference, here is the existing original ratty saddle as it was found with the Silver King.

I tried out the Black and the Tan Leper Primus saddle and I don't think I am feeling either one of these

My Oriole came in today and it has a cool longspring metal pan seat, so I tried it. If I used this I would paint it either silver or black.

Then I tried the metal saddle that was on the Shelby Shockease frame I got. Again if I used this I would paint it silver or black.

And finally, I decided to try the cool riveted Felt saddle from the Fat Tire Ale bike I got.

i dig the Felt riveted :)

Thanks for all of the saddle feedback everyone. Honestly I was about ready to keep the old original saddle though. I then remembered that I had this cool ELectra Ghostrider saddle with the embossed flames. I stopped off at the store and picked up some silver marker paint to highlight the flames.
I really liked it was even thinking about getting finer lines into the top of the saddle too.

I sent pics to Tyler to get his opinion and he liked it too.
But you know me, I'll mock up anything. My wife had asked me about a banana seat earlier in the night and it reminded me of my Afterburner X53 seat idea. So I pulled out the megapost that @slowriderz made for me a couple of years ago. This thing is like a tire iron boomerang.

So goofing around I mocked the red glitter that I got from @Ichoptop a few years ago and sent a pic to Tyler for the hell of it. He loved it right away and I realized it wasn't such a crazy idea after all. I think it is a great balance to the bars.

I didn't quite finish making the rear bracket to attach the rear of the seat to the floating seatpost, but I was able to wedge things well enough to go for a ride and test it out. It actually road and felt nice. It was early nightfall by this time, but I love how the city lights play off the wheels and shiny bits.

Yep you have built my dream bike :43::13:.

Thanks man. It's been a fun build even with the ups and down. Still having fun tonight with a surprise (even to me) changeup.

HEY B!! NIA SAID THAT AIN'T NO RATROD BIKE. THAT'S SLEEK. I GUESS YOU HAVE HER VOTE. (AGAIN) HAHAHA

Thank Nia for me brother! It is a shiny beast and I even added some glitter to it tonight. :cool2:

OK, so do you have any actually red grips? That seat does fit this bike!

Yeah, haven't gotten that far. The red glitter coke bottle grips I have are too deep a red.
I think my red pointy Elgin like grips might work well. We'll see.

I've got that seat in black if you're interested.....
It's a little ratty-er though[emoji12]

I like the red on it. Is yours black glitter? I have a blue glitter one just like this one too.

I had to give the bike in its current state a shout out on Instagram. Love that guard.

Thanks brother!!! Some day I'll mess around with that there newfangled thing called Instygram.
There is a ton of RRB love on this bike. That guard I got from you is perfect. There are also cool bits from @karfer67 , @yeshoney, @highwheelerboy25 , @slowriderz , @Ichoptop , and of course @gaskill. It's been fun blending it all together and making them work.
