Well I just got home from the San Diego Tour De Fat. It is about a 5 hour drive from Phoenix. This was the first year for it to be held in San Diego. I think it was a great turnout for the first year. The only negatives about the event were, they ran out of all beer excpt reg. Fat tire and didnt even offer my fave 1554. The route did go up some pretty good hills which was rough on some of us cruisers. The intersections were not blocked off which made for bad gridlock. I rode my burrito and spun the bearings on one of the hills about halfway up(cheap Chinese LBS wheel) I was able to limp back to the park. Other than that it was a total blast !!! At the start of the parade I met up with SoCal Jack and we hung out most of the day and then went for drinks and a bite afterwards. Really good guy and lots of fun to hang with.We may have had something to do with them running out of beer,lol. Here are some pics,no real order.
