Trying to get some work done today, funniest thing is when I took the springer apart I had been using this bushing from a Pro Flex mt bike and I set it to the side and ended up with this.

I wish I could afford to do things the correct way alot of times, like getting chrome redone , but I am going this route for now
 
We call that redneck chrome here. Looks good.
Love that ring and dogleg and sunny side egg.
 
Started playing with the mock up with this old set of rat wheels, and I get to polish up the Torrington stem again

I have replaced those elastomers with sway bar bushings from energy suspension. They are smaller, red, and can handle the weight of the front end of a car. The bonus was they fit without modification.
