I dont know about the front double sprocket and front derailer though.It gives you extra gears but I've felt I had enough range with only one front sprocket.Dont like the extra cables and junk under my feet!Its also cleaner looking in my opinion.

As said (per posts), I took delivery of the School Banger and I'm as happy as a kitten in a creamery. TheFlyingDingo did a super build - rethinking front gear per feedback. Seems there's agreement that this is 1 choice machine. Thnx TFD!!
