Schwinn 1958 twin straight tube Tornado

Hello, I'm a "rodie" that has been a collector of old road racing bikes. I picked up this Schwinn because it seemed to be like one I had when I was a kid. I'm trying to find out if it is worth restoring or better to leave original? I have been told by a number of people that the straight twin tubes and bolt on kick stand is something special! This website seems to be a place with knowing people. Thanks in advance for your replies.

I see from the number your bike was made in Dec. of '58. Here's a pic of me on my 24" Flightliner with my cousin on his Tornado with the frame like yours. This pic was probably taken around '59 or '60 when I was about 7. My cousins Tornado was the "big bike" compared to my little 24" and the first 26" bike I learned to ride.
