the dx style is may 5 1950, having trouble identifing the other looks like a stripped down phantom both have schwinn as springers, the black bikes serial starts with a c maybe late 40's early50's ???any input would be great

Not a DX, it's a straight bar. I'd say the blue one is a Deluxe Hornet, the earlier balloon version. The black one could be about anything. The springer is pre '55. Are the truss rods 1/2" or 3/8"? The 3/8" rods would put it closer to the late 40's. Gary
