I have been parting out my 1955 Schwinn. The fender had some kind of bondo repair and was fairly far gone just behind the Schwinn Fenderlight. The member that bought it asked if I could just send him the good part. I was more than happy to obliged.  He saves on shipping and much easier to package up.

Ouch. It hurts to look. At least it's off to a good home?

I guess we've all done worse. I've hacked a few pieces off of old
Chicago frames before... don't like to admit it. :)

Paul- I knew you would like that.

Rob- I knew you would hate it. It was pretty flexi there and rotten to the core. It is off to a good home. CCR gonna weld on a new hind end.

Now you can take the left over half and weld it to the back of another fender for a cool tail dragger look.
