Hi I am trying to decode the serial number on. My Schwinn bmx bike here is the serial number can some one help me decode it so I can figure the age of my Schwinn the number is ACF7A03528

If you haven't already tried, google schwinn and your serial number.
If you don't get a result for your serial number, you may get one close enough to yours to learn more
about your bike.
I used this method on old motorcycles that predate the intro of VIN numbers.

Another way to decode it is if it has a head badge on it look for 4 numbers stamped into it, the first 3 will be the day of the year 1-365 the fourth digit is the last digit of the year.

Example 0045 would be January 4 of 1985 or 1995 exc.
