SCHWINN CRUISER 7

I picked this Cruiser 7 up last week for $100 off of the CL. Originally had planned to buy it strictly for the wheel set, but I had to see what I could do.

I decided to rework the bike this weekend with parts that I had on hand. The only thing I didn't have already were the cheapo DK pedals that I bought from Walmart for $10.

At first I swapped out a smaller seat, but it was pretty uncomfortable so I threw the stocker back on for now....it's 42 year old man friendly. :lol:

It took quite a bit of digging through the old part bins, but I'm pretty pleased how it came out.

The crank arm is the same one that came on the bike.

I installed a Sugino spider with an old BMX chainring I had hanging on the wall.

Wow. If the 7 spd internal hub came with that bike, you really stole it for $100.

Yep...keep an eye out for them in your area. They pop up from time to time and many times they are listed for a good price.
