First post here, so if I break any rules in either procedure or content, please be gentle and forgiving.

I found these two Schwinns in my dad's garage. The Cruiser 5 has a serial of BV508098; the serial of the Collegiate is BG043126. I tried doing my research before posting to this forum, but I am stymied; I would be most grateful if someone could help me with the approximate age of each bike and a rough estimate of value.

might wanna post a quick intro. As for the bikes, for wahtever reason the Cruisers are bringing crazy cash
 
just noticed that yours is a bit newer than the one bringing in the dough. Still very cool!
 
the cruiser is late 80s, the collegiate is a 71.

not really rare bikes, but theyre in decent shape, if I was selling them id let them go in the $150-200 range each after they were cleaned up a little bit.
theres not a high demand for bikes in my area so somewhere else they might do better
