Schwinn Excelsior what year?

Picked up this old Schwinn Excelsior from the big Forth Worth sale, need help figuring out a year for it. Thanks!

The crank bearings will need grease anyway, so pull them and see if there's a 2 digit year on them.

I'd say you have a 1937 Schwinn C model. It also looks all original except for the seat, bars, and grips. I love those old frames with the straight down tube. Gary
