Has anyone done or what clever ideas have people come up wth to put a tank on a shwinn heavy duti the new frames?

That is one gargantuan seat. I like the bike otherwise.

Yeah, i think the smart move is to cut some sheet metal or wood to fit, and finish it to your liking. I know you have some fab skills, so you could probably make a tank to fit that's more like the old-school tanks, but it hardly seems worth it, to me. Just cut out a panel, paint or stain it, and put some kind of graphic or slogan on it.

My SHD is gonna remain unadorned... trying to keep it minimalist.

As it turns out I just bolted up mine. Took the frame out of storage last week to try and finish it. Don't know if I ever will finish it or not but I'm getting back to it.
