Bigger picture. Got the wings from a buddie of mine and the light from an old Murray. I painted the sign on an old pizza pan that I got for 50 cents and cut down. The seat came from one of the oldest Honda bike dealerships in Japan. The old guy had it sitting on the shelf from when he sold bikes around 40 or 50 years ago.

Splendid...!
Tell us more about the 'distressed' look you achieved on the cut-down painted pizza pan...
(Warning: Do not attempt to say 'cut-down painted pizza pan' whist drunk!)

Re: Schwinn h*** Cat

As you know pizza pans are aluminum, making it difficult for paint to stick...good in this case. I primed the pan, placed the home-brewed stencil, sprayed the white...upon removing the stencil, just enough paint came off. I then splattered it a bit with black and white to 'dirty' it up. The rest of the patina is all natural. I traded for this bike with a good friend for an old model A deck lid. I added the tires, seat, sign, handle bars, wings, light and bags. It would be a shame to ever paint it.
There are more pictures on this forum under, "been all morning trying to post pictures", "hellcat, bags", and "full on Hellcat".
Thanks for the interest
