Schwinn Identification

Hey folks, hope it´s the right section to ask this. I was wondering in which year my Schwinn Classic three was introduced ? Seems like from the late 1990s / early 2000 years ? I bought it at a flea market and the pre owner didn´t know either.Never seen another one like this in this black/gold paint job.

Thanks Deorman ! So it´s from 2009 . I thought they introduced it earlier. But thanks, I appreciate your help. I couldn´t find any informations here in germany.

Yep, just a few little changes, like a laid back seat post and a bigger headlight and some new tires etc. nothing fancy.

Just a little update. Mounted brand new Fat Franks and fabricated a laid back post to get that "Look". Also got another Brooks saddle in black. Now I´m looking for a new bigger headlight …and maybe other handle bars...

The light that's on there matches the bike well in pictures. Maybe you can upgrade the internals if it's more light you're after.

Thanks Deorman. Hmm, maybe you´re right. But I was thinking of a 4 1/2 inch diameter headlight, maybe 5 inch even. I´ll try that and see what´s cooler.

What about converting a tractor headlight like the one:

Yep ! That´s the one ! I think a tractor or fog light would look great.

A little update : Bought a headlight from a french motorcycle, probably early 50´s and added the fork reinforcements. Looks better with the bigger headlight now.
