Front brake, medium reach Japanese steel sidepull, steel u-bracket affixed w/1/4" grade 5 machine screw w/fender washer, and exterior multi-purpose adhesive to prevent rotation. Front light required between dusk and daylight, this relatively cheap Blackburn works great.

Rear brake, same brand and series as the front but long-armed. Hardened steel L-bracket bolted to fender mount, shoe mounted frame stops. Got plenty of room for a nice 2.4 I have, but I'll wait 'til I have something to match for the front. VA law requires an approved reflector, but it doesn't say it has to actually reflect, so I put on a Lucas I had laying around. :p

Nice and functional, the way a bike should be. What is that seatpost? Wald or something custom?

I don't know who made it, but that post is pretty awesome. it's 4" longer than the long Stingray posts and even heavier duty. It also has inches marked and numbered. 8) I had one of those Wald with a 7/8" top clamp on Ol' Droppy that got bent, and unlike the old Stingray posts, it kinked and kept going. I went to a local new/used parts guy and he dug this out of a bin of old crusties in the back. I forget if I paid 10 or 15 bucks for it, either way it was a major score. 8)

wow! how did i miss this?
oh, yeah. i've had motorsickles on the brain lately
