I got this schwinn today and this blue bike yesterday with a stick shifter. Any ideas on age of the schwinn or model? Im canadian so I don't know much about them, Raleigh however I do. lol

The black Schwinn is probably a Typhoon from the 60's. There may be a name on the chainguard under the repaint. I think I see a T on there. The serial number is on the left dropout, and can be dated by that number. Post it and we'll see.

I think this is is what serial is, its what I can see anyway LM658. and theres red under the black then bare steel, nothing else rear rim looks like it was dipped in a vat of yellow paint lol

I wish I had a dime for every black Schwinn Typhoon they made. There must have been a million of them. I had one when I was a kid. They sure turn up often even today. Gary
