Like “RadioFlyer”
This 1995 mountain bike started my bike addiction. I put a lot of miles on it. I guess it was sort of a mid/late life crisis decision thinking my days were numbered and that I need to drop some pounds.
It replaced a ‘69 Sears middleweight 3peed. I still have both bikes, the Schwinn needs tires, cleaning and a tuneup. I guess that would be a good winter project.
I did the Flint Hills Death ride on it 3 Years running. It was a ride of around 70 miles or so done in August when temperatures are around 100 degrees and mostly on dirt/gravel roads. It was a killer ride, lots of hills and elevation gain.
