Schwinn Orangecycle 70's BMX Style

I'm Still here! Have not really been sharing my builds in a long time. Built this a WHILE ago now.
School and work is everyday. I get some mornings to play with bikes. I haven't ridden a bike in 2 months.


Started off this:

A bike i got from a friend, i figured I would do nothing with but part out or something. Turned out to be a pretty cool bike when I decided to actually build it.

Stuff from tear-apart

This seat I added was painted BLACK. Scratched/laquer/stripper'd it off.

And hop forward:

I'm going to need to do something about this tire clearance:

Going to figure that out, and ride!

I'm adding stuff as I go:
Number Plate
Purple Bar pad
New pedals
Different chainwheel

Freewheel rear wheel

Front brake?

Are the spokes 12ga.? You can never go wrong with an orange bike. 8)

What color was the frame originally, or is that the o.g. paint? I have never seen a stock orange Schwinn cantilever before.

What color was the frame originally, or is that the o.g. paint? I have never seen a stock orange Schwinn cantilever before.

judging by the fork it was blue, But i dont think it is original to the bike. I want to say it was red.

Interesting. I wonder if it wasn't rattle painted with Schwinn paint? The color is right on...
