Schwinn pixie and bonus bike

This weekend I found these two bikes on CL. When I showed up they were literally in a barn. I was interested in the Pixie and the woman threw in the Stelbber for $5. So I got both for $30. I plan on fixing them up for my soon to be 5 yo to learn on.

Thanks. I think my daughter was a little disappointed. She has been eyeballing a My Little Pony bike at Toys R Us. But I recaptured her excitement by letting her pick the color scheme. Dark blue and gold on the pixie and light blue and pink on the Stelber.

Great fun way to teach about "reuse" with earth day coming up!

With the use of streamers and a rattle can job on the bars I have convinced my daughter to keep the original paint. Bike rolls nicely. Hardest part was bending the headtube and fork back into place.
