See if you can maneuver that frame a little different to your liking and use a piece of 1x1 square stock cut to length with holes drilled in each end to hold in place versus shock.I tried with boy version but didn't find a good look. Might be worth trying with girl bike

Alistair was kind enough to fix me up with a rear shock - but it was too short and the BB was too low and got hung up. Cut a piece of pipe and replaced the shock - actually not too bad as a hardtail...

Here are pics of the pipe replacing the shock.

Now the rear suspension lower arm is horizontal and I have like 3" more height at the BB.
