Hello names Sam 19 years old from Oceanside CA.
Ive been building, riding, and enoying the heck out of schwinns since I was 14 years old.
Im not a fan of overly stretched bikes. I prefer period correct well perportioned bicycles.
I do not like new parts that are repro or not genuine schwinn. I love mid 60's bike and earlier
but do own some later models. Very cool site hope to expand my know how and history from fellow members.
Below is a photo of my most recently finished schwinn and a list of deatails
-House of Kolor semi gloss black with egyptian gold powder
-50's copper head badge
-50's Coca Cola bottle opener
-Pre-War Western Flyer pedals
-Hand made copper chain guard and stand
-viscount leather seat
-Bars,grips,stem,frame,fork, seat post, clamp and front wheel are original schwinn
-The chain runs through the copper tubing
