Schwinn skip tooth tandem

I was surprised to find an old Schwinn skip tooth tandem today. I did not buy it, and don't even know if it will be for sale when I get to talk to the owner, but I'd like to ask the forum how rare this old bike is? It is old, rusty, and sitting outside. Mostly bare bones, but does have two sweetheart cranksets and a looooong skip tooth chain. What is it worth? Thanks.

Pics would be helpful. What was the asking price? I'm gonna say it's worth $130.00 for the parts you mentioned at least if you sold them.
