I have an old ladies Collegiate (?) at my folks place that I'm using for parts. I don't have too much interest in the bike itself. There's an old speedometer that I'm thinking could be fun, but it's just the gauge--no cable going to the wheel etc.

I'm wondering, has anyone reset the odometer? How hard would it be to get the rest of the components which (I assume) connect to the wheel?

What brand Speedo?

Got the hub drive on the front wheel?

hmm, I only noticed the schwinn name on it. I think I'll be back down their way in a couple weeks--I'll see what's all there in more detail then...

without the hub drive it's just about useless I would imagine?
