Schwinn Spitfire for sale in Holland

This Schwinn is for sale. It's a skiptooth and was last used by a hippy in the 60's (the ad says). They want about $220 for it, and it needs 'some work'.
Is it worth it? I think it desparately needs a paintjob... :lol:

That is a difficult answer. Here in the the States probably not. It is a cool frame (Schwinn?) and some of the parts look newer than the 60's. Front rim is newer alloy w/reflector, pedals are newer (post 1971-72) and probably some other items.


It all depends on the supply and demand for vintage American bikes in your part of the world. And your want for it.
