Schwinn Typhoon

Here is my 2nd project bike, its a 1979 Schwinn typhoon original color was blue. With this bike I decided to go simple with it. I had it repainted. I used some black Heavy Duti rims and tried to use all the original parts for it. All in all I loved the way it turned out. Sorry I dont have any before pix but I am posting the finished product.

You know I havent taken a picture of my bikes side by side. I will do so, I also have a 20 inch 1970 Schwinn Typhoon and a Motobecane Beach Cruiser, I'm going to take a pic of all of them side by side.

Gorgeous. The grips are a little funky for my taste usually, but w/ a simple stripped down ride like this, I think they add the perfect amount of bling. love the simplicity of her.

Oh, and did I mention I'm a sucker for black rims and whitewalls? Nice touch!
