The Volare was a more "affordable" option to the paramount. Sometimes called the "Japanese Paramount". Reynolds 531 frame. Made in Japan with dura ace instead of campagnolo. They only made it for a couple of years. They pop up from time to time on ebay and they go for around $500-$600 - sometimes more. I've seen them in red and Pearlescent Orange. Very nice bike.
Freaking cool! I knew a guy back in high school that had a Plymouth Volare that same color! Well till he blew a tranny in the school parking lot while doing a burnout.
