got this today trying to find out the year its a schwinn world tourist and has a no. on the
drop out were the wheel bolts on it is 3547949 an a no. on the head badge 60639 an 1213
also on head badge

On most lugged frame late 70's 80's models made overseas you can find the manufacture year on the chain side drop out.It is usually a number beginning with GXXX the last two digits are the year.Im not sure it applies to your bike/model but its worth a shot.
I have a Schwinn WORLD SPORT similiar to your WORLD TOURIST and it is on mine.

There is a 4 digit number on the headbade. The last digit is the year, so yours is 1213. So its a 63, 73, 83, 93, etc. Its either 83 or 93 I'm not sure which
