I cant really tell if its a 24' or 26' frame, but im pretty sure the forks are not original and they are definitely 26'. I know the cranks are schwinns but they are not original, I think it has the original bars, seat, post tho. Wheels is modern just verry rusty. I found these bikes less than a quarter mile from the ocean so the salty air has definitely taken its toll. Luckily for the schwinn a heavy coat of house paint has kept the frame mostly rust free! I would really like to know what year this is, the serial would put it in the 1960s but I would think it would have to built in kick stand??? idk. Its gonna be a good project! :D

And two more...
Monarch 3 speed. Very rusty but cool.

Centurion Le Mans. It was just a bare frame I added the wheels. A cool future city bike:

:D :D

The red cruiser is not a Schwinn. My guess is Hiawatha judging by the rear triangle. The seatstay bridge makes me think Hiawatha, because it's shaped to match up to peaked fenders. The seat post clamp is identical. The fork is the same too. Here's my girl's Hiawatha for comparison.

Sorry not the most awesome picture of what I am describing.

Thanks for all the great info guys. It is indeed a 26er. The frame has braces for peaked fenders, just like my amf roadmaster. Ive torn it down and am regreasing everything, then im gonna motorize it :D

Yeah Schwinns are cool but personally I'm a J.C. man. But I also have a 59 Western Flyer and 54 Westfield. Real nice find though! 8)

Hey that's one of those wonky cwc frames with the solid seatpost.. I seen a guy make a nice klunker out of one like that. Boardtrack clunker!
