My 5 year old boy has been asking about an old bike that we could fix up for him, and since he's interested, I'm all for it. I went by a spot that I've got bikes before and he had these 2 old Hedstroms. They are nothing special, but I put the chain back on the red bike, and he rode it until dark tonight. It has a VROOM-like handlebar mounted box that sounds like a motorcycle. The black bike has a cool looking integrated ape hanger/triple tree/ fork set-up. It is missing the front wheel and crank, so I'll see if I can find another one for parts. I paid $25 for the pair, and his excitement about the motorcycle sounding throttle box was well worth thye price to me. Here's a few pics.
