Scored an Alan Thick Brick!

I stopped by my local bike shop today and we got to talking. He is in the process of building up one of the Felt Canvas cruiser sets. He brought out the frame and it is a nice thick aluminum light frame.

anyway, he said he had an extra Thick Brick in the back. He gave me a killer deal on it. It will work nicely with the Quick Brick Whitewall that I already had. Now I just need to find a bike to put them on :roll:

Do you still have that monark rocket with the 24" rear wheel?

The quick is 26 x 2.125 and the thick is 24 x 3.0

Not anymore. That 24" wheel and tire is on the back of my phat cycle right now

Hmmm, you've got a nexus 7 sitting around, time to build that sucker up with a 24" rim :wink:

The 7 speed nexus is in a nice 26" wheel. I was thinkng about running the thick brick up front. I wonder how that will look
