I think you're on the right track with no changes. That thing is awesome.
Depending on your girlfriend's tastes, the only thing I can see to enhance the look for it would be going to a shorty ducktail fender on the back, and maybe some white walls.

Just as it is looks great. Not a scratch on it and the paint shines like new. You'll need a nice wicker basket on the handle bars for those Sunday rides, so she can haul the refreshment.
Looks like 24/20 to me. With 20 x 1-3/8" on the front.
