I picked this up last fall and haven't touched it yet. I was looking at it tonight and thinking it will be my next detail project. It's completely coated in some sort of grease or oil and looks like it will clean up nicely. Wondering what is available in red line slicks (if anything) that looks similar to the original slick. I have a new old stock Cheater Slick that looks similar as far as the side wall goes but it doesn't have any raised lines on the side that could possibly be painted. The bike has a Sears knobby tread tire on the back of it now.

Very nice find! Looks like it will clean up very nicely.

For the rear tire, I think a Carlisle slick would be best, because they have a raised line you could paint. Another cheaper alternative would be a Bike Pals slick, they pop up on eBay from time to time, and they have two raised edges that you could paint the red line between, so painting in the valley between the lines.

Nice bike! I did some poking around on Ebay for you. I found:

This: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Slick-Slik-...519163?hash=item35f2d828bb:g:chkAAOSw4HVWDZsY

And this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-Goodyea...540697?hash=item1a09619899:g:y4EAAOSweuxWS3MW

And this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GROOVE-TREA...078071?hash=item3f5f602cb7:g:TnUAAOSwMORW7~KR

And this Carslisle, like Eagleye mentioned, but it's not a redline: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-Carlisl...269155?hash=item51e1d64da3:g:nTUAAOSwAuNW7LVJ

But if it where my bike and my money... I'd probably get this, because you can paint in the dual red lines with an Elmers paint pen, and it will look really good.

Appreciate the input and Crash that's over the top......last tire looks good. Also thanks for the tip on the Elmers paint pin for the red lines?
I own and have owned different muscle bikes over the years and have to say the Murray built stuff in that 69/70 era are some of the best ever for my taste.
