Scwhinn and Specalized fleamart score

so i got this 70s schwinn road bike that looks all og 'except the paint, blue under neath' they did do a cool trim around the gussets..
i swear this bike was someones barn find cause it had more dirt on it then rust
covered in Jap parts 'suntour, araya, and schwinn :lol:

real leather on the foot straps :?

the other is a 'according to my research'
A 1995 Specallized Rockhopper, which in its time cost alittle over $500 from bike shops.. heh same year as me :mrgreen:
this thing has Arayas and Shamano components its light, coming to a total of just 22lbs :shock:
oh and its full Cromo frame doublebutted and as is the fork 8) 4130 forever !

its very pretty in person, i use to hate mtbs but i actually kinda like this one. id want to ride it but needs new treads :roll:

great deal for $35 - that Rockhopper is nice. You might want to keep that one if it fits you.

well id like to sale them later so i can get cash to build my 2spd stingray into a motor bike :lol:
i do like it though..and that its as old as me is cool too
its pretty nice and only 22lbs, thats lighter then my 2011 Fit :shock:

i may part the schwinn though..
i really want to build my motor bike soon :roll:
need it to get to school :lol: if i had a job it would be easy to build it.. but im building it so i can commute to get to a job..

that specialized looks exactly like mine but mine is a '94. i bought it brand new for $400, on sale. those things are SUPER light. it's the only reason i havent parted with mine yet.

you might even have the comp version which has aluminum rims and some other mega light parts that i cant remember offhand. sweet find.

heck yeah man, its got shamano hubs, and jap Araya rims!
my model was $500 at the shops in 95 by my research

had abunch of rubbish plastic 'addons' on it and these ugly cheap peddles, so i just threw on these 'specallized' bmx peddles i had sitting around. i think they look a whole lot better
