Searching for short terms like x53

Has anyone figured a way to search the site for short terms like X-53 or X53?

Just typed in x53 in the search box (top right corner of the page) and it found 10 pages worth.

Hmm, I see what you mean.
Sometimes it works to search google images with something like "ratrodbikes x53".

Edit: Just tried this and came up with a bunch of picks from RRB. Some picks show up in google that don't show up in the old threads when you link there!

Likethe Ren man, I just search via google. type te following in the search bar on google:
site: www.ratrodbikes.com "x53"

Thanks guys. I already knew how to search using google and the "site:" option. I was just wondering if anyone found a way to search for small words on RRB. I think the forum search is setup to ignore search words that are too small (3 characters or less). I did find that using quotes for "western flyer x53" or "western flyer x-53" returned more accurate results as long as those three words were in that order.

I find using the google site search for images usually finds the better content on here. Guess it depends on what your looking for but there's usually better info on the threads with pics ... not always ... but most times Good tips on the forums search though, never thought of quoting the searches before !

Don't forget to search "The Ultimate Rat X-53"

That one was still fresh in my mind, so it was easy to find. I think it would have looked better with house paint though.
