Sticking my little toe into the boardtracker realm. Started with this Sears coaster brake find. Stripped the paint and did a rattle-can paint job. Kept the unusual gray tires, painted the wheels and spokes, handle bars. New copper riveted seat from eBay. Still a work in progress, ideas welcome. Here are the before and after pics.
. Im sure you will find a 'compromise' that works for you. FWIW, I cant lean over too far due to an old neck injury, so trying to kick my head back is a problem, but like a 'lowish bar' look. I use a tall quill and get the stem far enough out to fit my reach; even with inverted bars I am still not bent over too bad and it looks racer.
