Shelby Bicycle Company question

I was in my local resale shop talking with the owner about wanting to build a dirt track bike, and he pointed me towards a bike on the wall. We didn't get it down but he said it's a Shelby Bicycle Company "race" bike from around 1920 ish. When they where making the Ideal bike. It has wood rims and a stretched leather seat, but its all in bad shape. Real rusty and seized up. SO my question is does any of this sound right? and any ideas on price? I didn't ask his asking price wanted to do a little research first.

Sounds like it's appropriately being used as wall art! You might be better off finding a frame on ebay, and building some 700c wheels for it. -Adam
