Shelby Eagle info?

I've got this 26" postwar (I think) Shelby Eagle. At least that's what the badge says. It's been painted and repainted 3 shades of red. I don't care much for the bike as it sits, but the rack and guard are cool. I'm think of ratting it out but curious about year and if the parts have any value. I have other bikes like this that I could turn into similar projects if I can get any money out of this. Handlebars, stem, and grips were old cheap huffy or something so I removed them. Not sure if serial numbers help with Shelby bikes, but if so let me know and I can post it.Thanks for your help.

Looks like a prewar cwc with a shelby badge. Post s/n. May have been badged as a hawthorn . Chaniguard not og.

Cool, thanks. I may just use it for a cheap build then. Seems it has no value as it sits. The badge is probably worth more than the rest of the bike. Any idea if the rack is Hawthorne or what?

The rack looks like CWC, so Hawthorne is probable.

Looks to be a late prewar CWC, og rack, Hawthorne chain ring, and part of a Monark chain guard. -Adam
