Shimano Nexus 7spd coaster brake cable question

I just installed this hub and shifter on my wife's cruiser. It works fantastic! Now I want to install another hub on one of my bikes with apehanger bars... the cable only comes one length....too short for apes. Does anyone know if a standard shifter cable replacement has the same type end as the 7 spd Revo shifter cable that comes with this kit?
Guess I could disassemble hers but hate for parts to go flying or something.

Yes, the shifter end is standard. For long runs, I buy the housing from a bulk roll in the length needed, and my LBS sells an extra long internal shifter cable that's marketed for tandems. I think it comes in 3000mm, or something like that.
