I've been using the flat rate boxes to ship as cheaply as possible. I live in Hawaii, and it's just a couple dollars more to use them than the lower 48, so that's a good solution. But they can't ship anything other than small parts because of their size.
That's what I thought until I noticed the game board flat rate box. It's nearly 2 feet long, so things like forks, racks, and chain guards, maybe truss rods can fit and be shipped at a decent price. In the lower 48, it's about 18 bucks. It can go to 70 lbs of weight, but I don't know what would weigh that much.
The inside length is 23 and 11/16ths inches.
