I really liked following this build. You came up with so many cool techniques for fauxtina and graphics. My favorite part is the headlight of course. Brilliant!

Yeah man! This build came out tops and on time! All the details are looking great: headlight, tires, patina, faux-tina. It all flows really well. Great pics too. Great job!!

I'd love to show you the final product in person. I'm planning on taking Shoestring with me to the BMX Vintage Nationals next weekend to enter in the show. You still going to be there?

Could you (or others) explain your process(es) for "aging" your white-walls?
Never thought about doing this, but now you have opened my mind to the possibilities - really tones down that glaring "new" white many builds contend with.
