ok. Finally i beat the snow and got the Stingray.its in great condition and all but the front brake is there.I am gonna clean it up and it will look like almost new.

..I Love this Bike!!.Dec.65' rare Violet Deluxe 2 speed.

You should buy it. Even if he won't meet your price all the way, just look on ebay at how much any Stingrays are going for. It is worth his asking in fair condition even. Just my two cents.

I guess i am most curious about the rear hub.When did they use blue 3 band 2 speeds.?Fenders are great and tires look period.I so badly want the purple Stingray.. 8) Thanks again.tell me all the reasons i should buy it..

a little more searching i did has me believing its a 65-67.Only 3 years for the Violet color.Lord,i hope he is open tomorrow.I'm a be in a bit of TROUBLE but....i think i NEED that stingray.I have 30 some bikes and not a Stingray..Yet :lol:

Man, I wish I had a chance to buy that one! I had one exactly like that in 1966 when I was a kid. I think we sold it at a garage sale for $10. I'd love to have that one back. I would buy it!

That bike has been on my mind non-stop.I was gonna give him a few days to consider my offer.Was closed on Sunday,didnt call me today and we are supposed to get over a foot of snow Tuesday.I admit,i might be freakin out a little. :shock:
