Manta Ray Chopper Phase 1
Manta Ray Chopper Phase 2
The evolution of this bicycle is complete!
Manta Ray Chopper Phase 3
Manta Ray Chopper Phase 3
Manta Ray Chopper Phase 3
The changes in rake angle and trail due to the 24” front wheel coupled by way of the increase in width at the handlebars (hand bent using a portable pipe bender) has resulted in a bicycle that corners with the stability and comfort of a trike!
Indian Larry (1949–2004) was the inspiration; no front brake (a Brooklyn Suicide Bike) or front fender and designed around cornering for riding in crowed urban areas.
I also have a 32" white/black genesis cruiser being delivered next week, and that will be getting the XL Fat Banana Seat w/ extra padding from Retro Cruisers.... If you like Banana Seats but want to ride longer, check these out:
Just finished this early 60's Huffy Galaxie, most of the patina is original, but I faux finished the wheels, light, sissy bar and bare metal banana seat to match.
