Some people think it’s odd that I do all the cooking in the family. But for 35 years my wife has cleaned up the dog poop and the cat poop and kept the toilets clean.
I raise tropical fish, and when they poop it just goes in a filter and I throw it away.
Zoey the cat hides under the bench.
The backyard squirrels have been giving her a lot of chatter.

More “pet” squirrels. These two live in my trees and create a more woodland atmosphere. That’s hard to come by in the desert.

“How long will this fish get?” I asked, (expecting a lie.) “About 9”…”they” said.
I had to dispatch 2 of them with a hatchet at 14” & 16”. Too big for my system. If I’d fed them more they’d have hit 24”. The pollution from the two would have poisoned everything.
Here is 7” long Butterfish, my hybrid African cichlid, biting at a Dyson, a 16” hypostomus plecostomus.
16” pleco, 6 years old, now in the garden.
My 7” Bristle Nosed Plecostomus. Over 8 years old. He is a dwarf by comparison & will not get larger.
