I have an ebay imitation brooks that's pretty comfy that I think cost under 50.
Quality difference is immediately obvious when you compare.

However, I think the only way to tell if each one is any good is by buying it and sitting on it.

the frame is hot garbage, put the leather on a brooks frame though and save $150 dollars. That is what those little snots get for a new saddle cover
or whatever I don't care

Solo polo: technically expensive because it was on a whole bicycle and vintage but they still make polo saddles
Put them both together: My wife legit steals my bike and makes me ride her 200 pound dinosaur at events

note the big cushy electra saddle on the dinosaur, yeah she still jets away on mine when I am not looking. I don't know how she can reach the pedals. Gidget magic

this hit 68 mph on it's test run. the morini here was my run to the store until I bought my Honda scooter. It has seen some miles and is wicked comfortable

I mean the wheels are starting to come apart miles

When you divide that couch and bottle of glue by how many saddles I made with it it comes out to like -$472

this is legit my peoples favorite bike to run off with at events. I always make them pick it up first before they ride it. it weighs like 46 pounds or something

My favorite saddle. It is plastic technically but flexes like gel. Itza frechia d'oro and they don't make them anymore so I always find them in the waste bin

Selleroyalgroup: specialized puts them on stoçk so same, waste bin, I love these and they are always in the pull off bin because they are on $3,000 bikes and those dorks are easy to talk into spending more money on an afterthought saddle

wait, i just started laughing because it is on my $2500 bike. In my defense Pugsley saddle suck

I got this Aikate on Amazon a couple weeks ago for 25 bananas. Looks very similar to the one in your pic Horsefarmer, it even has the rubber springs. I think they are on sale for 23 right now? Only available currently black w/blue or red stitching. REALLY like it. Litte BMX seats are cool....if you're 12. Pix for reference:

Took your advice and put the same Aikate saddle on my wife's Raleigh.

Blue stitching looks nice and she likes the fit.

I also threw a $20 Grm seat on the Miyata.

looks good but only a short ride to test...

Pretty nice seats indeed for the money.
