Just did a few shake down runs. Needs wider bars for sure, otherwise It handles the dirt very well!

MicKlunker
It's my Klunker for now. When I 'rescued' this Micargi, the back wheel was like a pretzel. I replaced spokes, trued wheels, took off the god awful fenders that made it look like a 51 Ford truck....the fork 'stem' kept falling apart, I tried a reweld..wasn't cuttin' it, so I just slammed a suspension fork up front..tossed the chain-guard...now this tank rides straight and smooth. If only I could find a hill. ;)

Here is my Klunker Lite. Started off as a Texas Ranger labeled Murray from the 60's I'm guessing;

I added BMX stem and bars, geared it to 40/19, trued the wheels and kept them cause I like the patina, steel wool, and one thin coat of linseed oil. Installed heavy duty tubes and slime and abuse the heck out of them.

Favorite riding place for this bike is near a relative's house near Toyah TX in the Chihuahuan desert.

Near an abandoned water tank. The rack is for carrying interesting stuff home found on the ride. Lot's of fun riding in the middle of nowhere.

Nice bike; I bet it's an AMF-built frame, though...

Bike looks good! The chain wheel and frame/forks are mid 60's AMF, perfect for a klunker!

Yeah, looking at my post, i can see how it might've seemed like i was hatin' on AMFs, but really, I had noticed that @rusty flyer had ID'd it as a Murray, but it's an AMF. Frameset looks awesome, and i actually bought an AMF sprocket just like that b/c i think it rocks pretty hard; I just haven't used it yet....
