Here is my collection so far along with the ones I built my Grand daughter and Grand son, I still have one on the rack I'm working on and looking forward to the MBBO 5.

The two major sources of inspiration for this bike:

Front tire, rear tire and springer w/high rise handlebars
Indian Larry "Daddy O"

Hi G-Matt, this is an updated pic of the bike.

Indian Larry was a creative genius and if you ever get a chance to visit the shop in Brooklyn, you will be seriously impressed. All three of his Biker Build Off winners are on display in the show room - totally brilliant masterpieces of mechanical engineering and esthetics, not an easy combination to pull-off.

Added two teardrop LED headlights. Really dig riding this bike in urban areas due to its predictable cornering abilities. Replaced the factory rear tire w/a Kenda slick and the front w/a Specialized 24X2.

I found some old pics tonight. This was my bike in 1971. Probably a Wards special, can't recall. I couldn't afford the aftermarket stuff so I made them. Note the roof attached to the sissy bar.
I forgot about the pickup bed!
But I do remember the oversized Hurst shifter .So cool. I don't know what's up with the seat post. Now this was before the Top Fuel forks came,I had the real things !
Those who know me know I like my stickers and I quess it started Way back !
Enjoy ...Stevil

Here's my collection of ONE
and...a confession: I never owned or rode a muscle bike in my life until I built this one for the build off.
It's become one of my absolute faves because
1. of course...I built it
2. I actually finished it :)...amazing.
3. It's so much fun to ride
