Hooch,
That's some nice work brother! Especially where the original frame meets the stretch, cool use of the display stand too, perfect curve.
Strong looking welds, yet just 'ratty' enough.

Thanks. I am still thinking of the paint I will use and these forks seem to be twisted and I don't know about the handle bars. So lots more to do

Wow...the paint is really cool!

Now all you need is a 24" Nexus out back with a 24" x 3" Fatti-O.

I had planned to put this Sturmey on but the brake sucks so I need to rebuild it and I am sick of trying to make the big tires fit so I dunno

Love the paint. It has a nice patina look to it. How about a close up and some info on how you got that look.
its just layers of fogging a flat burgundy and flat black . I will get closeups when I am finished :)

I will be doing a creme colored insert in the tank so I can get it lettered :)
I have 2 shows next month and I want this ready for that

The cleanup work on the welding is absolutely top notch. . . .
Thanks for pointing this out. Had that point not been made, a non-welder like myself probably wouldn't have looked at that aspect very closely. Now that I've gone back and looked at all the close ups I can appreciate the work even more. Very nice indeed, Hooch!

yea my guy is a great welder. I told him yea I can weld but by the time I buy all the tools and become half as good as him I would have to stretch 400 bikes . so its money well spent paying him :)

I put a couple miles on it tonight, a gear change is in order and add 4 inches to the handlebars should help
