Skirt lacing for womans cruisers???

Im looking to add skirt guard lacing to the latest girls cruiser I picked up and was wondering if anyone had close up pics of the piece at the axle and the spacing of the holes on the fender.

Thanks for this link. My wife wears dresses year-round, so that can be a problem on her commutes. On top of that, she is amazingly talented at sewing, so I'm sure she'll come up with something cool.
