Slow Spokes DFW March Cruiser Ride

The “Slow Spokes DFW” cruiser bicycle club invites all fans of cruiser style bicycles(beach bikes, vintage bikes, ratrod bikes, kustom bikes, muscle bikes, etc.) to join them for a cruiser bike ride on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 10:00 AM. We will be riding on several of the paved trails on the south side of Lake Grapevine. The scenic route winds through the woods surrounding the lake for a total distance of about 10 miles.
Let’s meet up in the parking lot of Scott’s Landing Marina on Lake Grapevine at 10:00 AM. The address is 2500 Oak Grove Loop S, Grapevine, TX 76051.The ride is family-friendly and suitable for all abilities.
Come on out and make it one of the best Slow Spokes DFW rides ever! After the ride, we’ll make a pit stop at Big Daddy’s Restaurant at Scott’s Landing Marina for refreshments.

Below are some of the additional events that Slow Spokes DFW is planning. The Tour Dallas ride on April 5th is a large organized cruiser-slow ride through downtown Dallas(not a race). It supports a good cause and there will be a celebration at the end. If that sounds fun, you are encouraged to register for the tour.
June 7th will be our first "Swap Meet and Bicycle Show." Bicycles, Inc. in Hurst has been kind enough to let us use their parking lot for the event. So gather up those spare bike parts & bicycles you have been thinking about selling and bring them out to the Swap. While you are at it, polish up one or two of your favorite rides to display at the Bicycle Show. There will be prizes.
